About Faye…and her food

My love for cooking, and passion for all things food, began at a very early age while helping my mom cook and bake in the kitchen. Whether I was watching my mom brown the onions for her Sunday sauce, helping her grate potatoes for latkes during Hanukkah, or sharing a quick dinner of leftover cutlets and spaghetti with the family, cooking and food became a love language - where connection was created over shared meals and storytelling.

What began as a hobby and a fun way to eat less processed foods, became a full-on obsession to create homemade ingredients and fresh meals that left me feeling energetic, not sluggish. Growing up in an Italian-Jewish household, pasta was a staple throughout the week, but I hated how I would feel after eating the processed pastas, so I created my own!

My vision for Food By Faye is to show the world that eating delicious food doesn’t mean sacrificing healthy food. Quality pasta can be a healthy addition to any meal when made with the proper ingredients and consumed in moderation. One day, I hope to grow Food By Faye to include more healthy, delicious options, so that all households can experience food that is not only good quality, but good for you.
